All skaters, skate at own risk
1. Activity Terms and Conditions
a. Nene Park Trust reserves the right to refuse admission to the synthetic ice rink or to request visitors to leave the venue at any time if our staff feel that to allow them to continue would be hazardous to the individual or to others and/or affect the enjoyment of others. Should this occur excluded individuals will not be eligible for a refund of their ticket price.
b. Smoking, including E cigarettes, is not permitted within the ice rink or ice rink area.
c. Food and drinks will not be permitted on the ice.
d. Nene Park reserves the right to close the ice rink and access to areas within the grounds around the ice rink at short notice and without prior warning if necessary.
e. By entering the site visitors consent to being photographed, filmed or recorded as visitors of the ice rink, and consent to such photographs, films or recordings being used by the Promoter to publicise the event in the future.
2. TICKETS
a. Admission to the synthetic ice rink is by ticket only. All skaters must have a ticket. All tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue. Tickets are available to purchase only through https://neneparkservices.digitickets.co.uk/category/44000?branches.branchID=2818
b. Children under the age of 4 are not permitted on the synthetic ice rink, children 12 and under must be accompanied on the synthetic ice rink by a parent or guardian over the age of 18 in the interests of safety.
c. Tickets will only be sold to a named adult. This adult is responsible for supervising anyone under 18 years old within his or her party. One adult may supervise a maximum of 4 children under the age of 13
d. Tickets cannot be resold, exchanged or refunded. To do so or to alter or deface any ticket will render it void.
e. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to check his or her tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
f. The ticket holder has a right only to a session of the value corresponding to that stated on the booking.
g. Bookings are given for specifically timed session and include skate hire. Please arrive promptly on your booked session time.
h. Tickets are for a specific date and time the customer must be at the advertised start location at the time stated on the ticket. Each session is 45 minutes long on the synthetic ice (we allow 15 minutes either side for boot change).
i. Late arrivals will be allowed entry after the session has started but will still be required to leave at the end of their booked session. Nene Park Trust is under no obligation to offer a refund or to reschedule a booking if a customer misses their booking due to late arrival.
j. Ticket holders will not be permitted to continue skating once their allocated session is over.
3. SKATE AIDS
a. Skate aids are available in limited numbers and must be booked online along with your tickets.
b. If skate aids have not been reserved at the time of booking, Nene Park makes no guarantee that they will be available to use on the day of the booking.
4. REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS
a. Nene Park Trust reserves the right to cancel an event at any time if our staff consider that to continue with the event would be hazardous to themselves or members of the public.
b. In the event any session is cancelled ticket holders will be offered an alternative session (subject to availability). If it is not possible to offer a suitable alternative session a refund will be given. Refund is limited to the face value of the ticket only.
c. Should you wish to cancel your booking after you have purchased your ticket Nene Park Trust will aim to offer your place to anyone else who may be on a waiting list. However should this not be possible Nene Park Trust is under no obligation to offer you a refund.
d. If you have been removed from the ice rink or venue for inappropriate behaviour, you will not be offered an alternative session.
5. RISK
a. Participating in Ice skating carries an inherent risk, any participation is totally at the users own risk.
b. Anyone with any medical conditions, serious previous injuries, recently broken bones, knee or joint problems, head injuries, pregnancy, mobility problems, or taking prescribed drugs should seek the advice of their Doctor to determine whether it is safe for them to participate without endangering themselves or other participants whilst skating.
c. Nene Park shall not be liable for any injury, loss or damage however caused, except for personal injury caused by negligence on behalf of the promoter.
d. Skates are included within the cost of the booking. Nene Park Trust staff will issue skates and advise customers on how they should be fastened. Customers must wear the skates provided while on the ice
e. Nene Park accepts no responsibility for any personal property left at the rink or in the lockers.
f. In the event of any conflict between these terms and conditions and the terms and conditions imposed by any ticket agency, these terms and conditions shall prevail.
6. General Terms & Conditions - All Customers
a. By booking tickets for Christmas at Ferry Meadows, you are agreeing to abide by the following terms and conditions. When an individual is booking tickets for others it is the responsibility of the individual placing the booking to ensure all participants are aware of and will abide by the terms and conditions.
b. Nene Park’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
c. Nene Park recognises that their activities are governed by English Law and entrants recognise that the county or high courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction in the event of a dispute.
d. Nene Park reserves the right to terminate or modify the promotions and/or Terms and Conditions at any time.
e. Nene Park reserves the right to disqualify any entrant (at its own discretion) if there are reasonable grounds.
f. Entrants should retain a copy of these terms and conditions.
