Is there an age restriction?

Minimum age is 4

What supervision is required?

4 up to the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult age 18+ on the ice.

One adult to every 4 under 12’s skating on the ice.

All children aged 13 to 17 years can skate without and adult however must have adult supervision within the vicinity.

Do we limit Skate sessions?

Skate sessions are limited to 45 minutes on the Ice.

What clothing should I wear?

We recommend warm/waterproof clothing,socks,gloves and hats – please note socks MUST be worn

Is there parking on site?

Free parking is included with proof of booking on the ice rink.

Can I take photos or videos of my children?

Photography is limited to your own child and at your own risk. On occasion, we will ask for permission to take photos for marketing purposes. You have the right to refuse.

Is the Ice Rink available for private hire?

Yes, please email us on visitor.services@neneparktrust.org.uk.

Can I wear my own skates?

No, only skates provided can be used on the ice rink.

When should I arrive for my session?

Please arrive on the hour booked slot to ensure enough time for boot change and safety briefing.

Will there be food and drink available?

Visitors can purchase food and drink from the mini Christmas market which is located next to the ice rink, from the gift and farm shop located in the visitor centre or from the two park cafes.

Lost Property?

Lost property will be logged and kept for the duration of the event please email visitor.services@neneparktrust.org.uk

How do I purchase a ticket?

To guarantee your booking you will need to book online via our website.

What are your skates sizes?

We have a range of sizes from Velcro on skates to adult sizes

Is skate hire included in price?

Yes.

Will the Ice Rink be open in bad weather?

Heavy rain – No

Light rain – Yes
